During the weekend of September 5th, we went on our first family camping trip.  We went to a beach near Santa Cruz.  We didn't bring Mackenzie because she was still too young so she stayed with my parents.  The boys had a lot of fun during this trip.  The weather was very cooperative.  On the first day when we got there, it was pretty foggy and misty.  The next day, where we spent most of our time on the beach, the weather was perfect.  It was sunny and cool.  So sunny that most of us actually got burned from the sun. 

And now that we got all the necessary gear to go camping, we're probably going to try this again next year (some place different, of course)!
